Humans, not algorithms

At its core, PR'UF is a community of experts. We took PR'UF on the road, traveling to code camps and SXSW to engage experts who shared our belief that the hiring process was broken. A key challenge was overcoming suspicions: many tech experts don’t have the best opinion of recruiters. We tailored our message to overcome barriers and differentiate ourselves from recruiting-as-usual.

Taking SXSW by storm

In Austin, we served up PR'UVING GROUNDS, an interactive experience designed to get people talking. Partygoers received expert badges, and were asked to reward peers who stood out in the field of good times. They could also take our team to task to earn merit badges, and score PR'UF swag by tweeting photos with #wearepruf.

Hilarity ensued, and the unconventional approach won attention and social media shout-outs. Illustrating the idea of a community-based solution live and unplugged, we were able to stand out and attract key players as experts.

I call Jen with a few Post-it notes and ideas and she makes it all make sense. She keeps our crazy ideas in check, turns them into reality and simply makes them better. You would be hard-pressed to find a better partner. She has exceeded all of my expectations.
