PR'UF brings candidates, recruiters, experts and hiring managers together under one platform. With a focus on shared goals and the desire to make an impact on the industry, all of PR'UF’s messaging was written with a simple, creative and community-focused voice.

Taking SXSW by storm

At the heart of the PR'UF system is the PR'UF expert. These industry leaders evaluate hiring needs, assess talent and nurture community. To connect with experts, PR'UF hit the road, traveling to code camps and conferences.

At SXSW, PR'UF signed on to sponsor BeerCamp, a favorite annual afterparty hosted by nclud (acquired by Twitter). There, we served up PR'UVING GROUNDS, an interactive experience that brought the PR'UF process and community to life.

Attendees were handed printed cards complete with expert badges (buttons), to award to partygoers who stood out in the field of good times. Revelers could also take the PR’UF team to task, earning merit badges for in-demand skills such as high-fives, secret handshakes and joke-telling. They could also score swag for social media shares tagged #wearepruf.

Not only did the interactive experience get people talking, it also motivated attendees to connect with and challenge four different PR'UF champions during the event. We didn’t have to hound potential experts — instead they came to us.

Challenge accepted

The unconventional approach won attention and social media shout-outs, demonstrating the idea behind PR'UF, live and unplugged. Raising awareness for the beta app and PR'UF community, we were able to stand out and attract early adopters, experts and candidates.
